Key Features & System Capabilities
- Horizontal Shaft Alignment: Determine and correct the relative position of two coupled, horizontally mounted machines. Once aligned, the rotational centers of their respective shafts will be collinear, reducing vibration and wear.
- Vertical Shaft Alignment: Easily determine and correct the alignment of vertically or flange-mounted machinery to ensure collinearity.
- Verti-Zontal™ (VertiZontal Moves): This industry-first feature allows you to make vertical and horizontal adjustments together in one single pass. It displays exactly how much a misaligned machine needs to be adjusted by adding or removing shims under the feet. By eliminating the need to re-measure between the vertical and horizontal correction phases, it saves valuable time and guarantees accuracy the first time around.
- Softcheck™: Automatically checks for a “soft foot” condition, identifying if the motor is not resting firmly on all of its feet before you begin alignment.
- Target Values: Pre-set target values prior to beginning your alignment to account for calculated thermal expansion as the machines heat up to operating temperatures.
- Feetlock™: An elegant, built-in solution to resolve constraints associated with base-bound or bolt-bound machines.
- Screen Flip: Quickly flip the display graphics in the settings so that the on-screen machine setup matches your actual, physical view of the machine.
- Resume Function: An exceptional power management feature that automatically saves your progress and allows you to pick up exactly where you left off in the event of an unexpected power cut.
- Memory Manager: Easily name and organize your alignment and measurement reports. The Fixturlaser EVO has the internal capacity to save up to 1,200 measurement reports, which can be easily transferred to a PC via a standard USB cable for documentation and analysis.

The EVO offers a compact, slim, and perfectly balanced display unit equipped with a 5” color touch screen. Its ergonomic design allows you to hold and operate it easily with one hand, leaving your other hand free to tap screen icons or manually rotate the machine shafts. The clean, color-coded graphic user interface guides you step-by-step through the entire measurement and alignment process, eliminating hassle and stress.

Smart Sensors for Unmatched Precision
The EVO is equipped with high-precision digital smart sensors featuring a 30 mm CCD detector. This technology allows you to achieve unparalleled repeatability and outstanding alignment precision, completely independent of ambient light levels or harsh measurement environments. Furthermore, the sensors are ultra-compact—measuring just 33 mm thick—making them easy to fit into even the tightest physical spaces.
